| Description of the problem | Van won't start, or shuts off randomly, including while driving. When driving, the engine dies and power steering is lost, making controlled stopping difficult and unsafe. I tested for tipm fuel relay problem using information available online & found it faulty. Had to rig a bypass from aux power terminal to fuel pump fuse to power fuel pump at all. This is a known issue for this and other dodge/chrysler vehicles, some of which nhtsa pushed for recall, but not all!!!! This needs recall reconsideration, given how common this problem is across multiple other vehicles that use the exact same tipm. There are literally dozens of videos and hundreds of web posts covering this issue, yet nhtsa has done nothing further, nor has any recall been provided for. When will this get addressed? |
