Description of the problem	The sliding door on the drivers side locked shut. We arrived home from an outing on the evening of 8-23-2018 and could not open door. Being elderly and disabled i was almost unable to get out of the van. The same thing happened in june, 2017 on the right side door. No one was in the car at the time. We were getting ready to leave and the door would not open. The car was under warranty. The dealer replaced the 'door lock actuator' . I feel this is a safety issue as someone could be trapped in the vehicle. Auto is no longer under warranty. I feel it is the same problem as before on the right back door. I feel there should be a way to open the door manually.
