| Description of the problem | Driving on local road, in chicago when i discover a tire is flat. I notice that the valve is badly corroded and that the nut that should be holding it in place is missing. While changing the tire the valve stem (tpms unit) falls into tire. The sudden flat was caused by corrosion of the tpms unit which caused it to be loose and tire pressure to drop. Research has shown this to be a common problem, existing for many years, that both dodge and its assistant, the nhtsa, are ignoring. |
