| Description of the problem | I bought a 2010 dodge grand caravan about 3 years ago and within the last 4 months the van has been making a loud high pitched squeal when switching from 1st to 2nd gear. The van has under 70,000 miles and 3 different repair shops said it was the transmission. Anywhere from 2500-3000 to fix. They also said it was not worth fixing because it's just going to continue to have transmission issues. I still owe over 7,000 on it. It's completely unfair that the transmissions are not being covered by the dealerships. So now i have to get another vehicle and start all over again. |
