| Description of the problem | The vehicle stalls while driving between 30 and 35 mph. There is no warning and it just quits. When it does you lose all power steering and electrical systems. There is no rhyme or reason as to when this happens - it can be shortly after starting the morning drive or after you have been driving for 20 minutes. It also happens sporadically so it is very hard to determine if and when it will happen. We have had the car checked many times by the dealer where we purchased the vehicle and they have not been able to find anything. It has continued to stall sporadically over the past 5-6 months. We now see that there is a recall for 2010 dodge caravans based on this faulty ignition switch, however the dealer informs us that our car is not included in the recall and there is nothing they can do. |
