Description of the problemThe van will shut off at random times while driving at slower speeds, especially when you're sitting and about to turn. At random times when you put in reverse, van shuts off. Takes 8-10 times to get it to stay cranked. Warning lights kept blinking about 4 years ago on long trip, so stopped in paducah, ky and dodge dealership changed crank sensor. Was ok for about 200 miles on way home, but still shuts off. With mechanic as we speak and changed egr valve and didn't work, still shuts off. Mechanic still has it and trying other things. Dodge knows it's a problem, so why won't they fix it. It's so dangerous to drive, so i'm the only one in the family who drives it. Won't shut off at high speeds on hwy, but on a long trip, last summer, it did lose power and went from 70 mph to about 40 mph... Dangerous!!
