Description of the problem	My husband was driving our 2010 dodge grand caravan down a residential street when suddenly in traffic the vehicle ignition shut off. Because the vehicle was going 30mph it didn't just stop and he could no longer control it. The van hit the back of another vehicle at full speed causing the air bags to deploy in the van. No one thankfully was hurt but our vehicle has been declared a total loss. We have contacted mopar since the accident occurred on 3/18/2020 and have received the runaround. Because the ignition just cut off we contacted a dodge dealership to have the vin number checked and were informed of the open recall that can cause exactly what occurred with our vehicle. We were directed by the dealership to contact mopar. We just purchased this vehicle at an auction in january 2020 we were never notified about a recall on the vehicle. The vehicle recall number is r03.
