Description of the problem	Mileage: 100,000 the engine will cut out while driving. Dash lights will flash, warning chime will beep, and the vehicle will rev and lurch forward before dying. This leaves the car at a coast. When the vehicle is brought to a stop, it restarts without a problem. Has happened in cold and warm weather alike.. Has happened while coasting, braking, and accelerating. Most stalls have been while driving straight in the city. No highways stalls to date . Cause: unkown; we have not been able to reproduce the event reliably, though it now occurs with some frequency (e. G. Driving more than 20 min). I suspect the power control module (pcm) or the ignition switch somehow moving between on and accessory modes. Available data: issues similar to this one can be found on forums, it does not seem that many have been able to resolve the problem, despite replace the computer and alternator.
