| Description of the problem | There is a problem with my wireless ignition node (win) that causes my van's engine to shut off randomly while it is being driven. This has happened at least 25 times over the past two years, during times of high speed, low speed, and stopped at intersections. There is zero warning and the issue does not trigger any check engine light. There is a recall related to this exact issue (r03/nhtsa 14v-373) that has already been issued for "most" 2010 dodge grand caravans, but i am told my vin does not qualify! This recall must be updated to include all 2010 dodge grand caravans as soon as possible. The repair needed to correct the problem is over $1000 and this issue poses a significant safety hazard! |
