| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 dodge grand caravan. While driving approximately 35 mph, the contact stated that the accelerator pedal became stuck intermittently causing unintended acceleration. She had to apply extreme pressure to the brake pedal to prevent a crash from occurring. She took the vehicle to the dealer who advised her that the pedal was covered with rust and needed to be replaced. She had not spoken with the manufacturer to-date. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The current mileage was 75,428. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000. |
