| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 dodge grand caravan. The contact stated that while replacing a light bulb in the overheard console, he noticed the bulb holding unit was deteriorating. He stated the failure appeared to have been caused by the bulb overheating and causing damage to the unit. The dealer advised the manufacturer was aware of the failure and a newly designed unit was available but only at the owners expense. In addition, the contact stated the accelerator pedal would intermittently become stuck in the open throttle position. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure persisted. The failure mileage was 80,000 and the current mileage was 82,000. |
