| Description of the problem | Just bought a 2007 dodge grand caravan and realized the front reading lights were not working. I took of the plastic covers in an attempt to change them and observed that the bulb had completely melted the plastic and burnt part of the casing. It appears as though the plastic housing was very close to, or had already, caught on fire. I am worried that if we put a new light bulb in the same housing it will likely catch the whole van on fire. The safety of my family being paramount, i do not feel safe doing so. After reviewing this problem online, i found numerous other grand caravan owners claiming to have had the same problem. This issue needs to be fixed before someone gets hurt, or even worse, killed. |
