| Description of the problem | Electric door locks would not lock or unlock - unsure what precipitated the failure. Web searches have turned up "quick-fixes" which indicate pulling the iod fuse out for five seconds and replacing it. Further searching indicates a costly software upgrade and warnings by dodge dealers not to do this type of quick fix with no reason why. The quick fix appears to work for varying lengths of time until same failure occurs. Heat, cold, wet or dry do not seem to alter the failure rate. |
