Description of the problem	I like many other 2005 dodge caravan owners has experienced a automatic door lock failure. After taking the van out once door locks operated perfectly, upon 2nd trip that day i noticed when i went to lock the doors with the remote they did not lock, i tried the internal door lock switch it did not work. I was advised (via website) to pull the 20a iod fuse and replace it which i did and the locks worked for about three cycles and stopped again. The doors no longer lock upon shifting into gear either which means the passenger doors (where the children sit) do not lock while on the road and can be opened while the vehicle is in motion without the effort of pulling up the door lock stem. I am going to take it to the dealer for a computer update which i am told sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The next step is to replace the module at considerable cost.
