| Description of the problem | Electric locks on 2005 dodge caravan quit working. After reading forums, found out that if you pull a fuse and replace it after five seconds, it works again. For most the problem returns within days. Read that their was a firmware problem in the vehicles computer that needed to be upgraded for a price. With the electric locks not working, and when driving, the locks will not lock at 19 mph as designed, causing what i believe to be an unsafe condition. I believe it is unfair, and not to mention unsafe, for the consumer to have to pay for a service that should be a recall. |
