| Description of the problem | The automatic door locks failed. They do not lock at 18mph, they do not open or close by button or key fob. Have discovered hundred of complaints about this issue. Dealer data suggests flashing the bcm however not a permanent cure, dealers replacing other parts ie motors, actuators wiring, fraudulently to allegedly repair a known defect in software or the bcm themselves. This is a safety issues and a extreme inconvenience to disabled persons trying to reach door locks inside of vehicles as there are no key options except drivers door and hatch. Hatch cannot be locked when this failure occurs. |
