Description of the problem	The first indication of a problem was the airbag light on the dash remaining on occasionally after the vehicle was started. The problem then progressed to the airbag light remaining on continuously and the cruise control function and horn (both of which are mounted on the steering wheel) not working. These symptoms were identical to those experienced by earlier years of this vehicle model that resulted in a safety recall for replacement of the clock spring in the steering wheel. I had the clock spring replaced, which corrected the problems.
