| Description of the problem | I have a 2005 dodge grand caravan. The air bag light started coming on when i was driving. I received a letter from chrysler indicating that the front airbag sensors may crack and they will be covered under a lifetime warranty. However when i took the car to a dealer they said the clockspring mechanism was bad and not covered by the warranty and it would cost $250 dollars to replace. In addition i had to pay $85. 00 for the diagnosis which was recommended by chrysler. I am convinced that my sensors are defective. |
