| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 dodge caravan. While driving approximately 65 mph, the contact heard a loud grinding and squealing noise when the brake pedal was depressed. She noticed a decrease in the brake line pressure and an increase in stopping distance. The emergency brake assisted during this failure. There were no warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who stated that the failure was related to the brakes and rotors. There were no parts available to repair the vehicle. The technician recommended that the vehicle be serviced by an authorized dealer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times for the same failure, but the failure persists. The failure mileage was 15,685 and current mileage was 24,000. |
