Description of the problem	The problem lies with the transmission that came installed in the 2006 dodge caravan. I am having a problem accelerating as low as 10mph on up to 65mp. It is not quick to accelerate. At times i feel as though there may be something wrong with the engine. I feel as though the car may have a hard time accelerating or like it may stop running or like it may explode. It is a hazard to my health and alarming to my kids as i use it to transport them to school. I have brought it to the dealerships' attention. I have looked on the internet only to find the problem with the transmission is not just my problem. It has been the problem of many other consumers. I have contacted dodge dealership only to find because i was not the original owner who purchased the vehicle i am not able to have it replaced under the limited powertrain warranty which covers the transmission. I purchased it in october-november 2009. It had 39000 miles on it at the time of purchase. It has always rode hard. I am finding although it is a 4 cylinder engine, it takes alot of gas. It is costing me a great deal as a single parent who uses this vehicle as my primary mode of transportation for myself and my 4 daughters.
