Description of the problem | When attempting to fill the tank with gas, even on near-empty tank, gas pump clicks off and gas spills out and runs down the body of the car onto the ground. Dodge issued a recall for durango and other chrysler vehicles for a faulty check valve in the tank but not for my car (caravan). I'd like to lodge a complaint. Dodge tells me that fixing this problem will cost me $1720 for a new gas tank. I believe dodge should fix it for me because it is dangerous to have gas spill out when attempting to fill. |
