Description of the problemNearly every time we fill the gas tank up (not pumping in extra after it stops to "top it off," just stopping when it first clicks), the engine will die about 30-60 seconds after we start driving away, almost as if the engine has flooded or something. It seems to happen most frequently if i happen to let off the gas at any point during those first 30-60 seconds. After doing some research, it seems this is a more common issue than it should be, but, on more than one occasion, we have been pulling out of the gas station onto a busy street right when our van dies. Thankfully, this has never happened when a car is coming directly at us, but it's certainly a possibility with the way it continues to happen. Again, doing research on this make/model/year of caravan has shown that it's not an uncommon occurrence, which i find particularly concerning. I would appreciate if something could be done about this so i can be sure my wife and children (not to mention myself if i'm driving, but i'm mostly worried about them) will be safe after filling up with gas in the future.
