Description of the problem | Car will stall after putting fuel in. It doesn't matter how much fuel, car will stall with no warning. Usually when pulling into traffic. This has happen several times at different gas stations. Real safety issue since you will not have any power to steer to a safe place. You have to turn car off, than start car for it to restart. Dealership has replace several items but car still stalls. Now i'm told it's the fuel tank which is a costly repair. The problem is a design flaw. The water/ fuel purge value is bad and the only way to fix it, is to replace the fuel tank. I'm looking for a fuel tank but cannot fine one. Even the auto shop i use regularly cannot fine one, only at the dealership which costs three time more than what they would charge. Conspiracy? |
