| Description of the problem | The electronic door locks on 2005 dodge caravan quit working about a year ago. Dodge says there is no recall and they can replace the part for $350 - $375. There are many many people with the same 2005 model caravan with the same problem. I can remove a 20amp fuse for 20 seconds and it will reboot the system and it work again for anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. I paid for an electronic door lock and it should work. My family to avoid someone jumping into the car at a stop sign or stop light must manually lock the doors that we paid to have done electronically. There is a malfunctioning part and it needs to be recalled and replaced. |
