| Description of the problem | 2005 dodge caravan electric locks stop working. Pull ido fuse wait 10sec reinstall, locks work again for weeks or days then you have to repeat procedure. Chrysler has some kind of fix where they flash an eprom with some updated code (not a physical defect but a programming error) then they charge the car owner! Chrysler knows about this problem and has done nothing proactive to address the issue. This is a very unsafe condition. When this happens you will not be aware that the doors have not locked and especially if you have children this could lead to an injury or a fatality. This is not an isolated problem you have only to search the internet to find possibly hundreds of frustrated and angry caravan owners. |
