Description of the problem	Driver side door does not open or shut completely. It only opens 6 to 8 inches and closes until about 6 to 8 inches. The latching mechanism sometime does not work at all or repeatedly tries to auto latch itself. This occurs every time we try to use the auto door feature. It appears that some wires have been severed, but the cost to repair at dealership is outrageous. I am afraid that the door will not properly close, leading to injury or death of my passengers.
