Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2005 dodge caravan. The vehicle was parked and shut off when the contact attempted to lock the doors using the key fob. The doors would not lock. In order to lock the doors using the key fob the contact disconnected the battery for approximately 10 minutes. Upon reconnecting the battery the contact was able to lock the doors using the key fob. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where they were unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure persisted. The failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 80,000. The vin was unavailable.
