| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2005 dodge caravan. While driving approximately 50 mph, the air bag warning light would sporadically illuminate on the instrument control panel. One year later, the failure recurred and the light remained illuminated. The contact noticed that the failure occurs only in rainy weather conditions. The dealer stated that although he was experiencing the same failure referenced in nhtsa campaign id number 07v192000 (air bags:frontal:sensor/control module), his vin was not included in the recall. The contact would have to pay for the repair. The failure mileage was 30,000 and current mileage was 42,000. Updated 05/06/08 *bf the dealer replaced the front impact sensors. Updated 05/06/08 |
