Description of the problem	Dt: the contact stated the four screws that hold the adjustment bar located on the back of the child safety seat have loosened over time resulting in complete detachment of the adjustment bar. The adjustment bar is used to adjust the height of the shoulder straps and without the screws the straps can no longer be adjusted. The adjustment bar could probably be screwed back into place however, the contact expressed hesitation due to safety concerns. The manufacturer was alerted who provided no reassurance for continually use of the safety seat. The seat was only in use for three years and has never been in an accident.
