| Description of the problem | I regularly maintain the oil in my car, yet the oil seems to disappear. I add oil in between changes and the technicians at the oil change have never seen any leaks. I continued to drive and noticed a knock in the engine. I checked the oil, and it was low. I was not due for a change, so i put oil in the engine. The knock continued until one day it became an awful sound, and shut off. I had the car towed back to my house where it has sat for a month. I had a mechanic diagnose ,y car and he said it was a rod, and that i needed a new engine. I have noticed where several people have had problems with the chrysler 2. 7 valve engine. I do not feel that this is my problem, especially if chrysler has a faulty product. |
