| Description of the problem | The paint on the hood and roof of the vehicle appears to be oxidizing. It is rough to the touch, patchy, and continues to get worse. The clear coat has completely worn down. We noticed it deteriorating when we got it back from the dealership for a recall due to a faulty brake system. The paint is clearly defective as i am finding in my research others are experiencing as well. Professionals who specialize in body work have acknowledged that there is clearly a problem with the paint on these vehicles. This is a common problem with gm vehicles of this year and color. |
