| Description of the problem | Gm products now have an unsafe condition when unlocking the doors. The vehicles turn on the reverse lights when the doors are unlocked, leading other drivers to believe that the car is backing up. This causes other drivers in parking lots to stop when they should not thinking that the car is about to back up, and will ultimately cause drivers to ignore gm product reverse lights as they are not used solely for backing up. |
