Description of the problem	Brakes suddenly became extremely hard to apply at low speeds. Brake pedal was stiff and wouldn't engage. I first noticed it while pulling in a parking space then reversing to straighten the vehicle. The brakes wouldn't engage and i had to press the emergency brake. This first occurance happened approximately 5:00 pm on november 11, 2018 in orlando, fl. At this time, i noticed the issue but after i turned off the vehicle and restarted, it appeared to be resolved. I continued my evening and drove several places and eventually drove back home to tampa, fl without any issues. Upon reaching my destination and attempting to parallel park, the brakes failed again. I turned of the car and restarted it and the brakes did not engage and the brake pedal was stiff. I did not drive it again. I suspected an issue with the vacuum pump and had the vehicle towed to dimmitt chevrolet in clearwater, fl the following morning. Dimmitt "verified concern. Performed diag. Found engine vacuum pump is weak and not pulling enough vacuum at times." dimmitt "removed and replaced vacuum pump."
