| Description of the problem | Factory wheels are have been deteriorating heavily. Gm offered an option package for this model year for 22" chrome wheels, specifically chrome 5409 wheels. The chrome plating has been aggressively separating and pealing from the interior of the wheels and most recently 1 of my wheels rotted all the way through requiring replacement. I take care of my vehicles and this problem was unavailable and clearly a manufacturing quality defect. I am now forced to consider absorbing the exorbitant cost of replacing all 4 wheels to ensure the safety of my family. |
