| Description of the problem | The upper dashboard on my 2011 chevy tahoe has numerous cracks and is literally falling apart. It should be noted that it is also a major safety hazard, because a cracked dashboard, particularly one that is damaged around the passenger-side airbag, can yield flying projectiles in the event that an accident triggers the airbag to deploy. Apparently this is a well-known and documented issue but gm has yet to issue a recall or offered to investigate at all on a case by case basis. |
