Description of the problem	The car was parked in the garage not running. I opened the lift gate. It opened fine then when i went to put something into the cargo area the lift gate started slowly closing. I backed out from under it and it suddenly crashed closed nearly hitting me. The struts have not worked since. We have to manually open the lift gate and prop it open with a broomstick handle.
