| Description of the problem | There is a serious safety risk which is not being addressed by my local chevy dealer. The propellant in some types of takata airbag inflators can degrade over time, especially after long term exposure in hot and humid regions. If the propellant degrades to a certain level, the inflators may rupture during deployment, causing serious or fatal injuries. I have a three year old son and am in the process of trying to have another child. If i do get pregnant and the airbag deploys i could be killed along with my unborn child. This needs to be addressed immediately for the safety of myself and family. |
