Description of the problem	I have two cracks that appeared on my dashboard for absolutely no reason. One is above the steering wheel and the other is on the passenger side at the edge of the airbag compartment. The one by the airbag is the shape of a triangle and a whole piece of the dash fell off. I believe it is very dangerous because if the airbag deployed it would very likely catch on the missing piece of dash and rip. It seems that it could also cause the dash to crack further and pieces of the dash could go flying at a passenger if there were an accident. I took it to two different chevy dealers and neither of them would admit it was dangerous and wanted to change over 800 dollars to repair it.
