| Description of the problem | Tahoe dash is cracking in two spots. The first is on the corner of the passenger airbag. A very dangerous spot for a jagged edge to be next to an airbag. The 2nd is a much larger crack in the dash that appeared a year later over the instrument hump. I see many cases of tahoe's and suburban's online with the same problem. When i see another tahoe in a parker lot, i always check, and 9 out of 10 times they have the same cracks in the same spots. When i called gm they asked me to take it to a dealership to be looked out. The dealership quoted me $500 to fix. It's time for chevrolet to acknowledge that they messed up and take responsibility. |
