| Description of the problem | I have a 2006 chevy tahoe z56. When i went to check the condition of the plugs and wires, i noticed there is an exhaust leak around the # 1 & # 8 manifold areas - as evident by the blackish coloring on right under the valve cover in these two areas. After further review, it was evident that the # 8 bolt had already broken off (detached head), and the #1 bolt was spinning/stripped, just ready to fall off. I am reporting this since it apparently is a common problem on these vehicles and needs to be recalled. ***** as i stated, this is a 2006 tahoe with only 59,082 miles on it. This is a manufacturers defect that needs to be addressed. ******* |
