| Description of the problem | Factory installed hitch receiver is severely twisted. The issue has developed over the past 4 years but with very infrequent use. If the vehicle had done a lot of heavy towing this unit would have failed for sure. This could have caused a very serious accident if the failure were to have become catastrophic. I have come to discover that this is a common problem encountered by the majority of those who have used the vehicle for any intermediate towing. |
