| Description of the problem | While driving on the freeway, vehicle lost acceleration although gas pedal was engaged. When i released my foot from the pedal, the gear engaged and vehicle continued for a short time before repeating same symptom. Vehicle did not fix itself. Safely coasted to shoulder of freeway. Put vehicle in park. Let it sit a moment and shifted back to drive. Was able to get vehicle off freeway and to safe location, but it continued to slip from gear. It finally stuck in 1st gear and would not shift up. |
