| Description of the problem | Own a 2005 chevy tahoe, the rear liftgate and window will not open using the unlock on the door or depressing the key fob. Has worked without a problem and all of a sudden quit today. We checked all of the fuses and then began searching on the internet. Have read similar problems and am assuming it is an internal part. However, there is no way to open the door from the outside or inside manually. I often carry my daughter and up to 5 other girl scouts. In case of an accident, there is no way to exit the vehicle from the rear. This is a safety issue and should be addressed by chevy. Don't know if new versions have a manual unlock, but is a hazard for those models that don't. |
