| Description of the problem | I have a 2004 chevrolet tahoe lt. The speedometer has been acting very erratic - reading 35, 45, 75, etc. While stopped and 125+ while traveling at 50 mph... I have read hundreds of similar complaints and my chevrolet dealer immediately knew what the problem was just by giving a brief description and wants to replace the entire instrument cluster for $400+ this is outrageous - so much money was spent on these vehicles and chevrolet cannot acknowledge that it is a defect which can very easily pose a safety hazard.
