| Description of the problem | I bought this 2011 bmw 335d used in april of 2014 with only 18,500 miles on it. This car runs on diesel. As soon as i started driving the car on the daily basis i noticed a smell of sulfur or exhaust inside the cabin. Every time i drive the car and especially when i accelerate i can smell it with the windows closed. It never goes away and is very distinctive in its nature. I took the car to the dealership and they found and fixed some oil leak but it did not resolve the issue with the smell. I think the smell could have a long-term negative effect on my health and i think bmw must resolve this issue. I just can't believe no one else has this problem. To me it looks as if there was a leak in the exhaust system and the gas enters the cabin. |
