| Description of the problem | I have a 2006 bmw 325i sedan with sports seats that failed the seatbelt warning sensor on the passenger seat due to a defective "occupancy sensor." this is exactly the issue as outlined in action number ea08001 but because the cars build date was later than stated in the recall is not covered. The problem exists in all 2006 cars and was not resolved by the manufacturer. Cost was $1,000 for replacement and 3 days at bmw. |
