| Description of the problem | I have a 2006 bmw 330i with the sport package seats. The srs light and safety belt light are on due to a failure in the passenger seat occupancy detector. There is a recall on this item but apparently, according to both the bmw dealership and bmw customer service, this particular recall was not affecting my car although it has the same part that was in fact recalled in the affected models. They are denying any sort of claim or responsibility in repairing the problem. I have also found numerous complaints regarding the same type of vehicle and i can't understand why they are refusing to cover all of the affected models. |
