Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2015 audi q5. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 17v298000 (fuel system, gasoline) and took the vehicle to the dealer (jack daniels audi of upper saddle river located at 243 route 17 south, upper saddle river, nj 07458) for the recall remedy. The contact stated that the fuel filter flange was inspected by the technician who found no cracks, but applied protective film. The contact was concerned that the film would not be durable or a permanent repair. The contact requested that the technician replace the fuel filter flange at her expense; however, the manufacturer would not release the necessary fuel filter. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and failed to provide any technical information to the durability of the protective film. The call was then escalated to a team leader who was unable to answer if additional maintenance or inspection was required moving forward after the recall remedy.
