Description of the problem	Horrified mother of 2 small children. Recently noticed when driving the vehicle, a gas/fuel smell consumes the entire car. The smell was so bad it made me sick as well as set off the carbon dioxide alarm in my garage. My toddler son sits on the side where the tank is and of course that is where the smell is the strongest. I feared that a explosion would happen in my house due to smell being so strong... We finally took the suv in and repair company stated that i had a fuel leak. He stated that the pump had a crack in it and was spraying fuel all under the car. Repair has cost me $900 to replace the fuel pump, adaptor, and rings.
