Description of the problem	As i was driving on a straightaway, i turned on the heater in my car and within minutes i was feeling extremely nauseous and felt like i was losing control and focus. I tried to figure out what was causing this reaction and why i could smell a light fume in the car as there were no other vehicles in front of me. I turned around to my children in the backseat to ask them if they felt okay, and i saw that they were nearly asleep. I opened the windows and turned off the heater since i realized the car was fine before i turned the heater on. I also realized it was probably carbon monoxide poisoning that was causing our symptoms. Although my children and i are okay as a result of my quick actions, i could have passed out and crashed very badly, hurting my family and other innocent people.
